About When Women Pray

Our Story

When Women Pray was founded in the winter of 2017 after watching homeless people walk up and down the streets with seemingly no place to go. I knew that I couldn't solve all of the problems in my community but I knew that I could do something to help. After praying, I came up with a strategy to ensure that the homeless population in my city had coats and other winter items to keep them warm. From that one event a greater passion was birthed.

As I began to work with other like minded women I realized that I was also inspiring and empowering them. Not only was I reaching the community, I was pushing the ladies to come out of their comfort zones and awakening the gifts and talents that God had placed inside of each and every one of them.

Our Vision

The vision of When Women Pray is to empower women through prayer, community service, evangelism, workshops, conferences, and authentic fellowship.

Goals: To win a dying world to Jesus Christ and encourage women to use their God given weapon which is prayer!

We are Better Together
